A day for a Tsunami

My wake up call this morning came a little early! The first one started at 430 and kept going until the Tsunami Siren started at 600. It looked like a normal day outside and luckily it turned out to be just fine. Of course that was after the Champagne!

Amazing sunrise on my way to work. I might have to leave early, but the when you have a beautiful drive it doesn't seem as bad.

 Rush has a secret flower shop he goes to, and he brings home the most beautiful flowers. Sun flowers, orchids, lilies...he always surprises me with something new. My favorite part about it is he always picks a random day. Flowers for no reason always make me smile!

A Summer Sunset

Tonight was the first Summer Sunset! We can finally see the sun instead of it going behind Kaena Point. Summer is right around the corner!

Happy Valentine's Day! Every Sunday Rush looks forward to the Farmer's Market. His Sunday wouldn't be complete without a crepe and a tandem bike ride :)

Detour

We had to visit a friend in the Hospital and made a wrong turn. The detour was great though...we had a nice drive down the H-3. Even though it was 20 miles out of our way, we enjoyed the scenery. If you look closely at this picture, you will see a stairway going up the ridge line. That is the Stairway to Heaven we hiked a few months ago. After seeing it from this perspective, it makes you think it wasn't the smartest thing to do! I can't wait to do it again :)

Pupukea

We spent today roaming around Pupukea. Rush made some music, feed the chickens and eventually  got around to picking some new fruit for the week. We love living off the land!
