Back to the East Coast

After a long trip, I made it back to Delaware. The sunrise out of Minneapolis was really pretty, although not as nice as our sunsets at home! Today was my first day back to work and it started out really well...reading the newspaper and drinking coffee! I'm off to fly tomorrow and then heading out to see Rush and The Weens! I can't wait! 

I think tomorrows flight will be really fun. It's my favorite time of year because the leaves are just starting to change. Check back soon for pictures!

Another Weekend

This weekend was definitely more of a relaxing than working weekend, but I think we deserved it! I thought it would be nice to take a day and go to Waimea before things get even busier. The weather was perfect and we had a great time playing games and swimming. Here's a video of Rush swimming and then a few more house pictures. I know it still looks like it's a disaster but we are really making progress! Below you will see our new kitchen being installed, my tiling job in the bathroom, both guest rooms and our hallway.

Our House

Here is a slide show of some new pictures of our house. It's starting to actually come together! We were able to get a lot accomplished this week to include both the living room and bedroom floor. We have a friend that flew out this week to make our concrete countertops and our kitchen cabinets will start getting installed this week! While this whole process has been stressful, Rush and I have had so much fun together making this house ours. I hope you like the pictures :)

Dining Out

With both of being in the military, I've never been able to attend a dining out with wearing a uniform. I decided to change that up this time! This picture is from the 2nd Annual 535th Dining Out!

Back to the Land of Aloha!

I can't believe it has been a month since my last post! After our trip to the Cape, I left to come back home to Hawaii. For those that didn't know, Rush and I bought a house in May! It definitely is needing a lot of love, but we are taking our time and working on it every chance we get. It has come so far from when we first purchased it so I can't wait to see the finished project! I have way too many pictures to post but I'll have to do that at a later time so check back! Here are a few now of our new bathroom tile, the kitchen before and after the giant hole in the floor and our amazing new deck!

Vacation

I haven't been able to download very many pictures, but here are a couple from our little vacation! We had a great trip and enjoyed some mother/daughter time! I'll be posting more pictures in the next few days!

Last Minute Road Trip

The past few weeks have been slow so no new pictures, until now! My mom and I decided to take a last minute trip before I head back to Hawaii. Pictures will be coming soon...Nantucket tonight and Martha's Vineyard tomorrow. Off for drinks at The Galley for a nice sunset!
